• Capital Printing Corporation's FTP site allows clients to get their files into our hands to troubleshoot problems immediately. Fonts, images, format and color issues are reviewed in the preflight phase. We double check the functionality of your project and ask the right questions. Does the piece need to fit into or marry to another item? Will the binding cut through critical images or text? If the size is larger than postal regulations, will there be additional postage? Capital is committed to establishing an error-free workflow that saves time and eliminates unnecessary mistakes that can be costly later in the process.

  • Color accuracy provides the basis for a well-printed piece. Our color retouching systems are calibrated with custom curves that reproduce artwork according to coated and uncoated stocks. These curves ensure that the proof that you approve will match as closely as possible when ink hits paper. Where do we stand out? Our team specializes in image and color-enhancing techniques such as hexachrome, stochastic and 3-D printing, and using additional flat colors. Additionally, our proofing systems are calibrated to showcase accurate color through true dot or continuous tone proofs. We also use DuPont's Dylux® monochrome proofing system to ensure that content and configuration of the end product is correct.   • Capital's digital workflow transposes images seamlessly in an efficient and accurate direct-to-plate environment. This system is free of film and transfers the digital image directly from the computer to a printing plate.
